Hi, we’re

The kralls

It’s so nice to meet you! The fact that you’re here reading this blows our minds because we still can’t believe we get to do this daily. We haven’t always been doing photography, in fact, Zach is an ICU nurse and Ashley is currently in her Physician Assistant program.  We want you to know this for a few reasons: the first being that we are genuinely in love with being behind a lens and our full attention is on creating beautiful imagery rather than focusing on profit. Secondly, medicine allows us the flexibility to travel and hang out with you incredible people! When we’re not in the hospital or in class, we’re walking our two pups around the state, eating our way through Denver (we specifically love pizza or thai, so after we shoot lets get some grub!), or on the road traveling to a new state.

So how did we get into this?  A few years ago, we were inspired in the search for our own wedding photographer.  While we searched for the perfect photographer, we were awestruck by the way ordinary moments were transformed into art and photos into feelings. We realized then that we wanted nothing more but to do just that! We picked up a camera, taught ourselves along the way, and here we are! Loving every single moment of this. What makes photography so special is that every photo is unique to the moment, the people, and the experience. For us, the greatest joy of doing this is the friendships we’ve made along the way because our couples are people who live for the moment, aren’t scared to try new things, and love viciously. Sound like you? Then we’ll be a perfect fit.

We realize the level of trust it requires to hire a photographer to capture you and yours. We don’t have any personal agendas and are very flexible in making your wild (and maybe unlikely?) thoughts and ideas happen. We’re strong communicators that will keep you in the loop, and you will have us for life. In order to obtain the photographs required of our style, we rely heavily on movement. We hardly use static poses, but rather, love to incorporate prompts that allow the real you to come out in photos. Because we are primarily adventure photographers, we love couples who are down to go on a hike together that leads to an exceptional view, are willing to spontaneously jump into a lake, or even try a few non-traditional prompts. We know this style of photography isn’t for everyone, and that’s okay. There are SO many incredible photographers that fit every type of couple. If our style sounds like you, we are here to meet you in your favorite places where the memories are held.

At the end of the day, this is all about you. In other words, we are open to suggestions, are super flexible, and would love to hear about anything unique that you would like done.  We’re so happy to be here with you, and can’t wait to meet!

Much love!

Zach and Ash.

ash

Raised in the Colorado ‘burbs, Ash is a type 3, ambivert who thrives the most when she’s traveling, checking off items on her to-do list, or drinking some sweet, sweet wine. Self-proclaimed social media and brand manager, Ash will mostly likely be the one commenting on your insta posts and reacting to your stories with lots of heart eyes.

Loves: ‘Los Chingones’ Happy Hour, a good ol’ Colorado sunset, Schitt’s Creek, and rewatching Mean Girls for the 100th time.

Hates: any alcohol that doesn’t taste like dessert or the word “cheugy”

zach

A PNW boy (if you couldn’t tell by the hair) who is energized by people, adventure, and a good IPA. As a type 7 and an extrovert, Zach will become your biggest hype man. He knows no stranger and will instantly make you feel comfortable behind the lens.

Loves: The Seahawks, breweries, The Office, and a good shot of espresso.

Dislikes: the baggy pant trend, sitting in 5 o’clock traffic, and having any type of nut anywhere near his desserts (get that shit outtta here)
